Over at the Post Punk Kitchen, Isa made some chocolate chip cookies that seemed really simple. Her description of the cookies was hilarious too. Baking seems fun and I love it when Babs and MeikMeika post pics of their sweets. So, I decided I wanted to try them. But I remembered that I had another vegan chocolate chip recipe from her Vegan With a Vengeance cookbook that seemed a lot richer and way less healthy. Of course I wanted to try that one!

And i did. And they are deeeeelish!

One bite of one cookie and I had enough. They turned out way better than expected. They’re so good and the recipe was so simple! They didn’t turn out as brown as I thought they should be, but they’re the same color as Isa’s pic. I think I’ve just been eating too many Oreos.

Next time I’ll half or quarter the recipe. I’m not about to eat all these cookies by myself. I mean, I fell off the diet bandwagon a little bit, but I’m not about to take in all of these calories. These cookies might be vegan, but healthy they are not.

I guess that’s about all. I’ve been tagged about 4 times so I should probably do something about that. lol Not yet.

Keep sending positive vibes my way. School is difficult. I expected to spend a lot of time alone, but I’m wondering where the line is drawn between alone, lonely and isolated. I’m somewhere in there. Being the first to do something is never easy. Positive vibes.

Someone’s car horn has been going off for 15 minutes. I suspect no one is bothered by it but me.

PS – Meika, that BBQ tofu wasn’t homemade. I think it was Gardenburger or Morningstar, but I have used a BBQ glaze before. It never looks good enough to post pics. I’ve tried baking and frying. It just turns out alright, not spectactular.
