OK, so today began as many have, with a lecture by Dr. Hansen. It was a little different in that we had to present this small projects we’ve been working on. We presented our various countries’ history, the metaphors that Gannon presented in his book (Belgium lace for Belgium) and Hofstede’s analysis. That wasn’t too bad.
Afterwards, we headed to the Koehler paper mill. We had a brief lecture by the Director of Carbonless operations and then had a tour. It was pretty cool…better than the GM tour! The Director was very friendly also. I kinda feel that he was in denial about the diminishing importance of carbon-like papers in the world. I mean, we have scanners and laser printers. Oh well! Enjoy the pics.
